Flooding Disaster in Thailand

During Mid October, a crisis broke out in Thailand. It had started to flood in our country causing a lot of damage. Many homes were destroyed and many people died from the flood. I too, am also affected by the flood. On November 1st was when the water reached my house. The water just kept increasing and now it's about waist height. Due to flooding I had to evacuate to a condo in Sukhumvit. The flooding caused a lot of damage to my home, and because of this I can't go back home even if all the water is gone. I have to wait for repairs which would probably cost thousands of baht. Another thing I can't stop worrying about are my pets. They are still at my home but luckily, my gardener insisted on staying to take care of them and the house, which was very generous of her. The flooding is really scary and it causes me and my family, and I'm sure a lot of other people, a tremendous amount of stress. I hope that the water will decrease soon and that everyone else is safe! C:

~Identity

I think that identity is a very important thing in middle school because it's when we start to change. People start to act different so that they can fit in making them not their true self. I think that if people act like that it'll make them feel even more uncomfortable then not fitting in. If you try to change your appearance and change your identity so that you're someone else just to fit in, people will like you because your someone else, not yourself and would you still be happy? Identity is who you really are, it's not your appearance, it's what you were ever since you were born.

Metacognition Questions

1. What did you notice?
I noticed that when people are doing something, they don't concentrate on it completely. Sometimes, they start to go off track, and think about different things and things they want to do.

2. What was hard?
The thing that was hard was saying what you were thinking out loud while you we conscious and knew you were doing it.

3. What did you learn from each other?
I learned that people have a lot of different thoughts going through their mind even though their trying to concentrate on the thing they're currently doing.
